Innovative marketing leader James Thomas joins the Allocadia leadership team to further Allocadia’s growth in the enterprise marketing technology space
Vancouver, BC, CANADA – January 7, 2014. – Allocadia, the leader in marketing budgeting software, has appointed James Thomas as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In his new role, Thomas will be a key member of the Allocadia Leadership Team, focused on driving revenue to support the company’s rapid growth, and developing enterprise-marketing strategies with a clear customer focus. Thomas brings more than 15 years of marketing leadership to Allocadia, where he will re-join former colleague CEO and Co-founder Kristine Steuart, as well as others from Business Objects and big data leader SAP, in helping CMOs manage their marketing investments and perform better.

Thomas brings a wide range of expertise to the newly created CMO role at Allocadia including product management, analyst and investor relations, and proven marketing expertise. This includes more than a decade of leading various marketing functions at SAP, and most recently, as marketing leader at Talemetry, a high growth cloud software company in the recruiting and human resources technology industry, where he led the creation of the Talemetry brand and the Talent Generation software category.
Thomas’ appointment reunites him with CEO and Co-founder Kristine Steuart, big data expert CTO Ryan Marples, cloud software sales leader VP of Sales Darin Recchi and newly appointed VP of Customer Success, Sven Gerhard as well as other senior Allocadia team members who were part of the rapid growth innovation that led Crystal Decisions and Business Objects to the top of the enterprise reporting software industry.
